A supplier's fuel mix shows you how the electricity they sell is generated and what proportion is derived from the use of coal, gas, nuclear, renewable and other soures. It is possible and common for a company which uses a low amount of renewable energy to offer a 100% renewable tariff. They do this by directing all of the renewable energy they source, to supply a limited number of green tariff customers.
